Congratulations to Haiyi for the acceptance of his paper
“Interpretable Factors in scRNA-seq Data with Disentangled Generative Models” to the 20th IEEE BIBE* 2020 conference. The paper describes a new method, Factor Variational Inference (FactorVI), which learns independent data generative factors of single cell RNA-seq data in an unsupervised way. FactorVI learns the biologically relevant latent factors by penalizing correlated variables in the dataset.
The BIBE 2020 conference, originally scheduled to be held in San Francisco on October 26-28, 2020, will now be held on-line.
