Congratulations to Kristina for the acceptance of the paper she co-authored: “Proliferating SPP1/MERTK-expressing macrophages in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis”. The paper will soon be published in the European Respiratory Journal. This paper presents the study of changes in cell populations and single cell gene expression that are related to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) progression. In this paper, Kristina used probabilistic graphical models to identify gene interactions within and between cell types.
